Sunday lunch at Harbourside

We set off to go to  The White Rabbit because the husband maintained that Peter Calder is never wrong and he has given the place the thumbs up.   As it happened the restaurant was not open so on we went to Harbourside even though last time we went there it was somewhat lacking (cold chips, etc).
Today the chips were hot and the mussels were good.  They could have done with a finger bowl though.   Nevertheless it was very pleasant sitting at one of the balcony tables watching the ferries come and go.   Overall since it changed hands the place has gone downhill a bit.  The food is still mostly good, the service mostly pleasant but there seems to be a sad lack of the professional polish it had in the old days.
Still, mustn't grumble.
